Practitioners appearing on this directory have successfully completed an eligible Where The Wild Ones Learn practitioner training pathway and met the requirements for Approved Practitioner status.

Our training encourages practitioners to develop a deeper understanding of:

Rather than giving practitioners a collection of activities to reproduce, our approach is about helping them develop the knowledge and confidence to notice, understand, respond and reflect.

Mells Muddy Munchkins is an Ofsted Outstanding childminding setting in the beautiful Somerset village of Mells. We offer a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment where children can feel safe, happy and valued. Our days are child-led and filled with opportunities to explore, create and learn through play. We spend lots of time outdoors in all seasons, enjoying nature walks, local adventures and our well-equipped garden. Indoors, children have access to open-ended resources, sensory experiences, creative areas, books, construction toys and inviting spaces to rest. Inspired by Hygge, Reggio Emilia, Froebel, Steiner and Forest School approaches, we follow each child’s interests, encourage curiosity and independence, and celebrate every child for the unique little person they are.
