Different expertise. Shared purpose.

We don’t expect one organisation to do everything.

The strongest partnerships allow each partner to bring what they know well, whether that’s pedagogy, environments, sensory practice, practitioner development, resources, research or community support.

Through collaboration, we can create opportunities that are more useful, accessible and grounded in real practice.

Shared values

We partner with organisations whose work genuinely complements our approach.

Practical impact

Partnerships should offer something meaningful to practitioners, settings, children or families.

Professional integrity

We remain clear about where our expertise ends and another partner’s begins.

The Ministry of Outdoor Education

Creating environments where possibility can grow.

The Ministry of Outdoor Education creates thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor learning equipment for Early Years settings, schools and educational environments. Their work shares our belief in the value of natural materials, meaningful outdoor experiences and environments that invite children to explore.

Our partnership brings together two complementary perspectives: the environment children experience, and the lens adults use to understand what happens within it.

Through The Wild Lens™, WTWOL encourages practitioners to look beyond what an outdoor space contains and consider what it actually makes possible, movement, agency, investigation, retreat, connection, appropriate risk, creativity and child-led play.

Together, there is an opportunity to support settings not simply to create beautiful outdoor environments, but to think more deeply about how those environments are experienced and used.

The organisations we work with

Our partnerships can take many forms. We work with organisations across Early Childhood, education, training and family support where our expertise and values genuinely complement one another.

Early Years & outdoor-learning organisations — Joint resources, practitioner education, environment and pedagogy.

Membership organisations & networks — Member webinars, specialist CPD, discounts and pathway access.

Training & apprenticeship providers — Specialist masterclasses and professional development that complement existing learning.

Universities & research partners — Guest teaching, knowledge exchange, research conversations and evidence-informed practice.

Nurseries, schools & setting groups — Whole-team development, Wild Lens implementation, audits and consultancy.

SEND, sensory & inclusion specialists — Collaborative work where specialist expertise strengthens understanding of children, environments and participation.

What could a partnership look like?

There isn’t one fixed partnership model.

Depending on the organisation and the needs of the people we are trying to support, collaboration might include:

  • Joint webinars or CPD

  • Member benefits or discounts

  • Specialist resources

  • Collaborative campaigns

  • Guest teaching or speaking

  • Practitioner events

  • Setting-development projects

  • Research and knowledge exchange

  • Bespoke training

  • Shared educational resources

We don’t begin with a package.

We begin with:

What could we genuinely make better by working together?

Could our work complement yours?

If your organisation shares our interest in child-led practice, outdoor learning, inclusive Early Years, practitioner development, meaningful environments or helping adults see children differently, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re particularly interested in collaborations where each organisation brings genuine expertise and the outcome offers something useful to the people we serve.

About our partnerships

We only feature organisations with whom we have an active, agreed relationship. Where a partnership includes an affiliate payment, commercial benefit or member discount, we will make this clear.
